Reducers: Concentric

  • Type:

Concentric reducers are either one-piece seamless or seam-welded construction.

  • Dimensions:

Comply with EEMUA Publication No. 146: Section 1.

  • Weld Preparation:

Wall thicknesses t and t1 of 3 mm and greater are chamfered 37.5° ± 2.5° with a root face of 1.6 mm ± 0.8 mm.

  • Inspection of Welds:

100% radiographic inspection to ASME Code, Section VIII, UW51.
